“When
you are fully in the body, you meet the
soul.” bks iyengar
By using the body as a tool for concentration, Hatha Yoga unites body, mind,
and spirit. Using the breath as a leading thread, we explore essential movement
skills and postures, emphasizing alignment, flexibility, strength, balance, and
body awareness. The style is integrative, combining elements of embodiment with
traditional Hatha -Yoga asana and vinyasa. (Series of postures in a flow).
Classes are small, allowing for individual attention and guidance, and are appropriate
for all levels. (class size: 3-6 students)
